Commitment

By signing up for sessions, you are committing to a minimum of 1 term’s sessions. We require a half terms notice to discontinue sessions.

Session dates & times:

All sessions are scheduled via My Music Staff and this is always the first place to check for session dates and times, you will be given a login when you sign up.

Term times generally follow those of Hampshire state schools) and will be issued at the start of each academic year, or when starting sessions. We will notify you of any changes to the calendar and My Music Staff will be updated to reflect these.

Payment:

Session fees are due in advance, and an invoice will be issued at the start of each month for sessions within that month. Session fees are non-refundable and payments are due within two weeks of invoicing.

Missed sessions:

Please give us as much notice as possible if a student is not able to attend a session. This means that we can tailor our sessions to the students in attendance, for example if we are working on a collaborative project.

Missed sessions are non-refundable.

Safeguarding & open-door policy:

All teachers hold an enhanced DBS check and undergo regular safeguarding training.

We run an open-door policy, meaning that families are welcome to enter and sit in on sessions at any time. If sitting in on a session, please make sure not to disturb the session with noise or interjections.

Parents are encouraged to stay and listen to sessions, however this is not compulsory.

Please provide (and update as necessary) contact details for everyone who regularly brings students to or from sessions.

If someone different is picking up a student, please let us know! We will not release a child to someone unknown to the teachers without parental confirmation.

For further information, please see our Safeguarding Policy, available on request.
